Our approach to training…
We take the role of professional pet care services seriously. Each of our team members go through a First Aid and CPR Certification Training through the Red Cross. We understand and integrate the core philosophies that dogs need positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine as well as the importance of mental engagement, appropriate socialization, ongoing training, and physical fitness. Our mission as Certified Pet Professionals is to always elevate the care for our furry companions and certification and appropriate training are keys to providing the very best care.

Growing up with dogs and declaring myself a vegetarian at an early age, a career in pet care was no surprise! I have been a pet care professional for a little over three years, working in California and North Carolina before coming to DC Dog Sitter. When not caring for our members or cuddling with my sweet pitbull, I work in theatre as a stage manager. I love audiobooks, kayaking, and a good cup of coffee!

My name is Fredy and I am from Laurel, Maryland. I am so happy to be joining the DC Dog Sitter Team because of their wonderful staff and their commitment to elevate pet care. I've always loved dogs and cats, so caring for your furry companions is something that brings me so much joy and fulfillment. When I am not hiking or walking with your furry friends, I am working towards becoming a police officer.

Hello, I’m John. I have always loved animals of all types! I have rescued 4 animals from shelters over the years and it warms my heart when our furry friends have a good day! I am so happy and honored to be apart of the DCDS team! It’s so amazing to be apart of a team whose goal is to make pets feel safe and happy! When I’m not walking or pet sitting one of the little folks, I enjoy playing music around the DMV! I’m also finishing up my criminal justice degree!
